Four accounts are default under banking,

Savings Account

Checking Account

Payroll Account

Special Account

If you want to create an account type, other than the above four accounts then use the following.

• To create new account type,
  select Company->Chart of accounts->Add new.
• In Add New account, fill all the details.
• To create an account type under bank, In the Account Section select "Current assets" and the account type as "bank".
• To create an account type under credit card, In the Account section select "Current liabilities" and account type as "credit card".
